What is cement? How many types of cement are used in construction industry?

Hello friends...
Today we will discuss about cement and its type..

You know that building is not built without cement. Mixing cement with sand is made up high higher buildings.

The person called "John Stiman" was done with the soil used by the chosen stone. It was only a type of cement.

After this, in 1824, a man named "Joseph Aspepin", made this cement more good by using Portland. Nowadays, Portland Cement is used in building. The most prevalent cement is only Portland. Therefore, the credited for the search and invention of cement goes to Joseph.

What is Cement and how to make it?

It is important to put light on these questions. Building, Pulia etc. is called cement to be used in construction. It is better in choosing with brick. It contains calcium, aluminum, iron, silicon etc. The amount of these elements is in a fixed proportion. In a way, the cement is the yogic of silicate and aluminate. The amount of selected in cement is 60 to 70 percent.

During the construction of the cement, grinding or changing basic raw materials, the cement known as additives has been used to add new content. The use of additives, changing the chemical composition and the use of various raw materials is the availability of many types of cement.

Cement is mainly seen in two types: -

 1. Hydraulic Cement
Hydraulic Cement: In the presence of water, due to harsh cement hydration (chemical reaction between cement and water), this type of cement can be harder even under water. Portland Cement is the best example for hydraulic cement

2.Non-Hydraulic Cement.

Non Hydraulic Cement: The cement which is not harsh under water is called non-hydraulic cement. This type of cement gets rigid when it responds with atmospheric carbon dioxide. It is resistant to attack by chemicals after cement setting. Non-hydraulic cement is manufactured using non-hydraulic lime, gypsum malherm and oxyclomeroid, which contain liquid properties.

1. Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC): This is the most common type of cement which is used extensively. It has good resistance to cracking and dry shrinkage but less resistance to chemical attack. Opc is not suitable for construction work, which is in contact with Sulfets in the soil. Simple Portland Cement is available in the following types of 33 Grade, 43 Grade & 53 Grade. The Grade Represents The Strength of Cement at 28days 33grade = 33n / mm2

2. Rapid Hardening Cement: Acute Strict Cement Rapid Hardening Cement is similar to ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). By adding excessive C2S material in the initial power mix and reduce C2S content in cement. As the name is like him, such cement is used where high power is required. East. Pavement, busy road route at the age of 3 days, the strength of the Cement is similar to 7 days of ordinary Portland cement. For this, the water-cement ratio is similar to OPC. This type of cement is not used for mass construction.
 3. Low Heat Portland Cement: - This type of cement C3S is manufactured by reducing material and increasing C2S content. There is less compactive strength than ordinary Portland cement, it is less lime content than OPC, this type of cement is used in the construction of maintaining most walls and it is not strictly suitable for thin concrete structures.

4. Sulphate Resisting Portland Cement: - It is manufactured by maintaining the percentage of C3A below 5%. This type of cement is used where the structure is prone to the establishment of severe sulfate attacks (alkaline conditions) such as soil, sea conditions, sewage treatment tank.

5. High Alumina Cement: - Rich alumina material in this type of cement is 35%, which helps in obtaining the final high power within a short period. This type of cement is used where a structure is subject to the action of seawater, chemical plants and furnaces.

6. Blast Furnace Slag Cement: - This type of cement is cheaper than normal Portland cement. It is manufactured by the Interganding of OPC Clinker and Blast Furnace Log. Blast Furnace Lava cement hydration develops low heat and it has less power.

 7. Colotent cement: - This type of cement is also known as the Coltate, it is manufactured by adding colorful pigments to OPC. It is used to join the tiles

 8. Pozzolana Cement: - Posted in a material that is made due to volcanic eruption. This is about 80% a smooth material in the soil. Positive Cement is manufactured by mixing 30% of positive for general Portland cement clinkers. This type of cement is used in the construction of dams and heroes.

 9. Air-Entraining Cement: - This type of cement is generally manufactured by adding Portland Cement Clinker to 0.025-0.1% Air Practing Agents. The agent entering the air is usually made of wood resins, calcium agents, vegetable oils and animal fat.

 10. Hydrophobic Cement: - This type of cement is produced by grinding normal Portland Cement Clinker with water-acid or stariant acid. These acid cement creates forms in the form of a water-saving film around the particle which enhances the shelf life of cement. The rate of decline in the long term, transport or adverse conditions formed around each grain of cement decreases. If the cement and together is mixed together in the mixer that exposes cement particles for normal hydration, the film breaks.

11. Expansive Cement: - This type of cement stabilizer is manufactured by adding cement to expand. This simple Portland Cement Clinker can be obtained by adding 15% of 8-20% Sulfolemnet and Stabilizer. Due to the shortage of free water, the concrete concrete of the OPC continues to grow continuously, the cement used for grouting should not be small or converted, we use huge cement. After being dense, huge cement does not show any change in any quantity.

12. White Cement: - This type of cement is achieved by reducing iron oxide material in general Portland cement. Power and durability is similar to OPC. This type of cement is used to join tiles and other internal functions.
13. Waterproof Portland Cement: - During the grinding, this type of cement is created by adding small percentage of metal seres in OPC. This type of cement foundation, water tank and other water are used in the structure.

14. Oil-Well Cement: - To remove oil from stratified sedimentary rocks, oil well is opened up to a more depth. The extracted oil is inserted for pumping from the cover of steel. It seems that if the oil is killed, then you can avoid the place between oil or gas rock formation and steel cover. To fill this place, oil is used well cement. Oil is well built by adding retardors (starch or cellular products) to cement general Portland Cement.
